(And for me, they're usually authors at library conferences.) What do you say? "I loved your book? I love YOU?" I can never think of anything that won't alarm them or that they haven't already heard a thousand times. If I gush to them, I feel like I'm asking them for something, like I want them to recognize me. But they've already given me the only thing they want to give me: their book/work. Ah well. I'm so insanely jealous!! He is actually filming a movie downtown right now and currently living in a hotel in Tribeca so it all kind of makes sense. (How do I know this? Well ... I shelled out $40 to sit in the nose bleed section of Carnegie Hall to see him perform there. It was awesome. *gush*) (ps - Why wasn't I invited? Oh I know ... cuz I'm lame and never go anywhere.) I hope out a minutae of hope that one day I will see a celebrity in NYC .... one day ... OH MY GOD!!! I’m so insanely jealous!!
