Back in October, I brought you the heartwarming story of a Jew, an elf and their extended family who wanted to build a Christmas Village.
Sometime this month, against all odds (including two curious cats and and working around the busy social calendar of a 5-year old) we finished our beloved village.
Behold:
This town comes complete with a fire station, museum, gas station, pet shop, Christmas tree store and of course, a church.
Check out the tracks that Santa made in the snow! We are SUCH pros.
Check out the frosty skating pond.
Blurriness should not detract from its splendor.
All in all, we are considering this a success. We learned a ton (mainly, what not to do) and we have plans for expansion next year. There is also talk of a possible Halloween village.
And to all, a good night.

I love it! I have a Christmas village myself, so I like to see what other people do. I’m impressed with the skating rink. And the Santa tracks – very clever.
I want to see a picture!
